Wombet Terms of Use
Last Updated: September 2026
1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
1.1. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Wombet website, its mobile version and all games, promotions and services offered on it (together, the "Services"). In these Terms, "Wombet", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the operator of the Services, and "you" and "your" refer to the person using them.
1.2. By creating an account, making a deposit or using any part of the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, our Responsible Gaming Policy and the specific terms of any promotion you take part in. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Services.
1.3. If there is a conflict between these Terms and the terms of a specific promotion, the promotion terms apply to that promotion only. In all other cases, these Terms prevail.
1.4. These Terms are written in English. If they are translated into another language, the English version is the one that applies.
2. Eligibility and Account Registration
2.1. Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age for gambling in your place of residence if that age is higher, to register an account and use the Services. We may ask you to prove your age at any time. If we find that you are under the required age, your account will be closed, any winnings will be void and deposits will be returned where required.
2.2. Your Responsibility for Local Laws
Online gambling laws differ between countries and regions. It is your responsibility to check whether using the Services is permitted where you live and to follow all laws that apply to you. Wombet does not offer any advice on the legal status of online gambling in your location. You must not use the Services from any country or region where online gambling is prohibited.
2.3. One Account per Person
Each person may hold only one account. The same restriction applies to a household, an IP address, a device and a payment method, unless we agree otherwise in writing. If we find duplicate accounts, we may close all of them, cancel bonuses and winnings connected to them and return only the remaining real money deposits.
2.4. Accurate Information
When you register, you must provide true, complete and up-to-date information, including your full name, date of birth, residential address and email address. You must update your details if they change. Accounts registered with false information may be suspended or closed.
2.5. Account Security
You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential. Do not share your password with anyone and do not allow any other person to use your account. Any activity on your account using your login details is treated as your activity. If you believe someone else has accessed your account, contact our support team immediately.
2.6. Identity Verification
We verify the identity of every player before the first withdrawal and may request verification at any other time. You may be asked to provide a valid photo ID, proof of address and proof of ownership of the payment method you use. We may suspend withdrawals, bonuses or account access until verification is complete. If you do not provide the requested documents, or if the documents are not genuine, we may close your account.
3. Deposits and Withdrawals
3.1. Currency and Payment Methods
Accounts can be held in Australian dollars (AUD). Available payment methods may include PayID, credit and debit cards and selected cryptocurrencies. The methods available to you are shown in the cashier and may change over time.
3.2. Deposits
The minimum deposit for most payment methods is A$20. Maximum deposit amounts depend on the payment method and are shown in the cashier. You may only deposit using payment methods registered in your own name. Deposits made with third-party payment methods may be returned and the related account activity cancelled.
3.3. Withdrawals
You may request a withdrawal of your available real money balance at any time, subject to completed verification and the terms of any active bonus. Withdrawals are usually paid to the same method used for depositing. Where this is not possible, we may ask you to choose another method in your name. Processing times and limits depend on the payment method and are shown in the cashier.
3.4. Anti-Money Laundering
Deposits must be used for playing. We may refuse a withdrawal if deposited funds have not been wagered at least once, or if we have reason to believe that the account is being used to transfer or launder money. We may report suspicious activity to the relevant authorities.
3.5. Payment Errors
If money is credited to your account by mistake, it remains our property. You must tell us about the error as soon as you notice it, and we may remove the amount from your balance. Winnings made with funds credited in error may be cancelled.
3.6. Chargebacks
If you reverse a deposit or request a chargeback without a valid reason, we may suspend your account, cancel related winnings and take steps to recover the amount.
4. Bonuses and Wagering Requirements
4.1. General Bonus Rules
Bonuses and free spins are offered at our discretion. Each promotion has its own terms, which are published together with the offer and form part of these Terms. By claiming a bonus, you accept its terms.
4.2. Wagering Requirements
Bonus funds cannot be withdrawn until the wagering requirement has been met. The wagering requirement shows how many times the bonus amount, or the winnings from free spins, must be wagered before they become real money. Unless the promotion terms say otherwise, the following rules apply:
The welcome package carries a 40x wagering requirement on the bonus amount.
Reload bonuses carry a 35x wagering requirement on the bonus amount.
No deposit free spins carry a 50x wagering requirement on winnings, with a maximum cashout of A$100.
Wagering must be completed within 30 days of the bonus being credited, unless the promotion states a different period.
4.3. Maximum Bet
While a bonus is active, the maximum bet is A$5 per spin, hand or round. Bets above this amount may result in the bonus and all related winnings being cancelled.
4.4. Game Contribution
Pokies usually count 100% toward wagering. Table games, live casino games and other games may count at a lower rate or not at all. The contribution of each game type is shown in the terms of the promotion.
4.5. Bonus Order and Cancellation
Real money is used before bonus funds. You may cancel an active bonus at any time before the wagering requirement is met, but the bonus and any winnings made with it will be removed. If you request a withdrawal while a bonus is active, the bonus may be cancelled.
4.6. One Bonus per Player
Unless stated otherwise, each bonus may be claimed only once per person, household, IP address, device and payment method.
4.7. Changes to Promotions
We may change, suspend or end any promotion at any time. Bonuses already credited to your account will be handled according to the terms that applied when you claimed them.
5. Prohibited Activities
5.1. You must not use the Services in any unfair or unlawful way. In particular, the following are prohibited:
Opening or using more than one account, or using another person's account.
Collusion with other players or any attempt to cheat or manipulate game results.
Using bots, scripts, software or any automated tools to play or to gain an advantage.
Bonus abuse, including claiming bonuses through multiple accounts, using low-risk betting patterns to clear wagering, or placing bets above the maximum bet while a bonus is active.
Exploiting any error, fault or bug in the games, software or promotions instead of reporting it.
Using stolen, false or third-party payment methods.
Money laundering or any other financial crime.
Abusive, threatening or offensive behaviour toward our staff or other players.
5.2. If we reasonably believe that you have taken part in any prohibited activity, we may suspend or close your account, cancel bonuses and winnings, withhold withdrawals while we investigate and, where required, report the matter to the relevant authorities.
6. Games and Game Rules
6.1. Each game has its own rules and paytable, which you can view inside the game before playing. The Return to Player (RTP) values of the games are set by the game providers and represent long-term averages, not the result of any individual session.
6.2. In the event of a malfunction, all bets and payouts in the affected game round are void. We are not responsible for losses caused by a loss of internet connection on your side.
6.3. The outcome of every game round is recorded on our systems. In case of any dispute, our records are final.
7. Responsible Gaming
7.1. We want gambling to remain entertainment. You can set deposit and session limits, take a break or self-exclude for a set period directly in your account settings.
7.2. If you choose to self-exclude, we will close access to your account for the chosen period and will not send you promotional messages during that time. You must not try to open a new account while self-excluded.
7.3. More information about the tools available and where to find support is set out in our Responsible Gaming Policy. If gambling stops feeling like entertainment, you can contact Gambling Help Online for free and confidential support.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
8.1. We collect and use your personal data to provide the Services, verify your identity, process payments, prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations. We protect your data using encrypted connections and appropriate security measures.
8.2. Full details of what data we collect, how we use it and your rights are set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
9. Licensing and Regulation
9.1. Wombet operates under an international gaming licence issued in Curaçao.
9.2. This licence is not an Australian licence issued or approved by the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA). By using the Services, you acknowledge that Wombet is not regulated by Australian gambling authorities and that the protections available to you may differ from those offered by locally licensed operators.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1. The Services are provided "as is". We do not promise that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors.
10.2. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or loss of data arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability to you in connection with the Services is limited to the amount of your deposits in the relevant period.
10.3. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Account Closure
11.1. You may close your account at any time by contacting our support team. Your remaining real money balance will be paid out after any required verification.
11.2. We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law or by our licensing obligations, or if we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraud or other misuse of the Services.
11.3. Accounts with no login activity for 12 months may be marked as inactive. We will try to contact you before taking any action on an inactive account.
12. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
12.1. If you have a complaint, please contact our support team first, giving your account details and a clear description of the issue. We aim to respond to every complaint as quickly as possible and to resolve it fairly.
12.2. If you are not satisfied with our final response, you may refer the complaint to the authority that issued our licence.
12.3. These Terms are governed by the laws of Curaçao. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through our complaints process falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Curaçao, unless the law of your country of residence gives you a mandatory right to bring a claim elsewhere.
13. Changes to These Terms
13.1. We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in our Services, in the law or in our licensing requirements. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
13.2. Significant changes will be announced on the website or sent to you by email before they take effect. By continuing to use the Services after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you may close your account.
14. Contact Us
If you have any questions about these Terms, your account or the Services, our support team is ready to help. You can reach us through live chat on the website or by using the details on our Contacts page. Please have your registered email address ready, so we can find your account quickly.
